My brother and his wife Ashley were as far as I know, the first to master the “jumpjump.” A timed jump, two people, one epic moment. It’s awesome on many levels so of course, Kendra and I copied them. This is my wife and I jumpjumpin at the holycrapawesome beach of Oceanside, Oregon.
Oceanside is pretty much all yes, no no. And that my friends is a double negative so again, all yes.
Listen to me: go here!! Stay at the cabins right at the water. You’re welcome.
Who knew the undercarriage of a bridge could be so romantic?
In 2007, Mark and Sara had a courthouse wedding with themselves, their two best friends and me. It was my first wedding and I was a complete stranger to them all. I remember being nervous but after the awkward past, we quickly became friends.
That day, we ventured all around the city of Milwaukee taking pictures. Eventually, we came to the Marsupial Bridge, a truly unique and beautiful pedestrian bridge suspended within the steel support structure of the Holton Street Viaduct. We didn’t stay long but sometimes a moment is all that matters.
For such a spontaneous kind of day, we couldn’t have planned this much better.
I’m a big fan of creatively romantic moments. I even photographed my own proposal, if you’d like proof of this enthusiasm. That said, I came across a call for help from a fellow romantic and thought I’d contribute and be part of the fun!
Here’s the original post from Boris himself:
Hi , i dont know if is this right place to open this topic. I would like to ask you everybody who would like to help me, i know this forum is good place where you can meet people from all around the world.
I am in Long distance relationship, i cannot see my girlfriend for 3-4 months and only way to show her love is in some different things. I am from Serbia , and many of serbs already did this to their boyfriends/girlfriends so i also would like to give a try.
This is what i would like to do:
Who is willing to help, you have to write on peace of paper sentence Lera, Boris loves you and to write that in your language, and write place where you live. And then take a picture how you hold that paper for example from your view on the window or wherever you want.
For example like this one.
You can upload picture on some image host site and send me in private message, or just leave it here.
I hope you can do that for me, just couple of minutes and to me will mean a lot 🙂
Thank you very much !! 🙂
So much fun, right?! Post links to your Boris loves Lena pictures in the comment section if you want in on the action!
How neat is this? She landed right on my hand! On a snowshoe hike around Trillium Lake near Mt. Hood we ran into these friendly fliers. Of course I didn’t feed it but pretended I had food so I could get a picture.
The early morning commute in Portland begins.
The beauty of this moment will be with me to the end of my days. Exceedingly rare is the photographic moment when everything comes together in such harmonious perfection. I was literally jumping up and down when I got this shot.
What an outrageously beautiful creature. There were quite a few peacocks at the “farm” I visited and all the males were showing off their colors. There was even an albino male there but he wasn’t very successful in attracting the ladies. No colors were adjusted / edited in this photograph, only a slight tweak of shadows.
