How neat is this? She landed right on my hand! On a snowshoe hike around Trillium Lake near Mt. Hood we ran into these friendly fliers. Of course I didn’t feed it but pretended I had food so I could get a picture.
I guess animals like me.

I’m pretty sure this is a gray jay. They’re known as camp robbers because they’re always trying to snag human treats from unsuspecting campers.
